- Chip memory is comprised of DIPs, not ZIPs. When you install the ZIPs you
- will have 12m fast & 1m chip. You will have to buy (8) 80ns 256x4 DIPs to
- give your 3000 2m of chip ram. BTW, all 3000s were sold with 1m fast/1m chip
- and the fast memory was made from DIPs so that you could just move them to
- the 2nd meg of chip memory. Did you buy the machine used? Either way, I
- can't imagine what happened to that other meg of ram...
