  19. Chip memory is comprised of DIPs, not ZIPs. When you install the ZIPs you
  20. will have 12m fast & 1m chip. You will have to buy (8) 80ns 256x4 DIPs to
  21. give your 3000 2m of chip ram. BTW, all 3000s were sold with 1m fast/1m chip
  22. and the fast memory was made from DIPs so that you could just move them to
  23. the 2nd meg of chip memory. Did you buy the machine used? Either way, I
  24. can't imagine what happened to that other meg of ram...
